Lox Club is a members only dating club for ppl with ridiculously high standards – Prospective members may download the app and submit an application. Once submitted, applications are placed in queue and reviewed continually. An applicant's status can change from "waitlisted" to "accepted" at any time. Once accepted, members have the option to purchase a 3, 6, or 12 month auto-renewing membership and will have full functionality of the entire service while their subscription is active. Lox Club's community values – trust, respect, and privacy – are core to the membership experience. Members who act in a manner that is not reflective of these values and other community guidelines may have their accounts suspended or terminated. Initial payment is charged via iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase and auto-renewals are charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the applicable period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time through iTunes Account Settings. Any subscription cancellation will be effective at the end of the applicable period. • Nobody is on the app

I wanted to like this app but there is hardly anyone to select from. After immediately realizing this I requested a refund and was told unfortunately they can’t process refunds, I would need to reach out to apple.
  • But keep it up and keep the terrible so you gonna lose the business

Terrible customer service when you apply. It's not working something weird going on there
  • Not the best…

    By nycgirl215
Great in theory but the app doesn’t filter by city. Also takes such a long time to get matches since people get limited swipes per day. Events are good when you get accepted
  • Don’t waste your time or money

    By amandadeutch
There are not enough men on this app. It’s extremely hard to get matches and it’s not worth paying for because the selection is not “exclusive” or “premium”.
  • The application process accepts low class people

    By Hxbdbxbdbbdb
This app has application process and it actually accepts very low class people on the app. Also it is a way to scan the people they believe has more money to be on their app so every message you send or every interaction costs. This way they can scam people and make some money.
  • Waste of MONEY

I was so excited to see this come to my city. But after waiting to get accepted and signing up, and even giving it the benefit of the doubt after I had no matches after the free week. I’ve been at it for 2 and a half weeks, I see the same handful of men (how are there repeats from people not even in my city!) and not a single match. If it’s so exclusive they have to cycle through the same people across the nation, then it’s not worth it. Really upsetting, and I requested a refund.
  • Don’t bother

Don’t waste your time. There are no ppl on it and even if you change your age range you get maybe one more if that. You can’t see who likes you and the napkin thing is ridiculous. Badly designed and badly executed.
  • Don’t do it!!!

    By lulununu13
I swear everyone is a bot. No one replies. Barely any matches. Their customer service doesn’t even reply. Waste of $$. Better off paying for tinder than this.
  • Colossal waste of an app

    By c00lgirl123
I’ve never left a review before, but this app is the actual worst. I’ve been on it for almost 2 years and have not gone on a single date from it. I tried the text a matchmaker feature to figure out why, and the only advice offered was to make my prompts more “serious” and less fun and that all my photos were great. The app consistently shows me men that are on the other side of the country and there’s no way to filter, and even with the nationwide (and sometimes global) pool of men I have been getting they consistently run out of men to show me. Don’t waste your time or money.
  • Not quite there yet.

I have had this app for about a year now. Learned a lot of good things and bad things about the app. I hope this review helps you make your decision. The good: you need to “apply” to actually become a member. This is really a fancy way of saying you have protection against bots and they make sure you are the right criteria. The bad: not enough members because of the absurd 95.99 a year price. A monthly price should be available or at least a trial period of one month free. This would make people at least try the app without having to pay for the 3 month subscription. Major features are missing because of the lack of members, such as location based matching. Why am I getting members who live in LA when I live in NY? Makes no sense and in my opinion they do this as “filler” because there isn't enough members bear my location. I can pretty much say with confidence 95% of members aren’t active. Out of all time I spent on this app I have matched with maybe 5 people. 2 of which actually responded. They need notifications like other dating apps as a reminder to swipe. Any person who pays $95 dollars a year is likely working during the day and is busy constantly (like myself). A quick notification reminding members to swipe would do this app good. Their “napkin notes” is a good idea in theory but I think the font is extremely hard to read and sending a “napkin note” doesn’t put you higher in the algorithm like it should. You should be able to like individual prompts like other dating apps. Instagram connectivity should be removed from the app. Their “ambassadors” are no more then popular influencers that tell their friends. I have seen this on multiple occasions throughout the time I have spent on this app. I know there really isn’t much “good” I have to say. I am in the tech field so I know what is possible with this app and what they have to do to make it better. You have the information you need to make an informed decision now. I hope I have shed some light on this new an upcoming app. Hopefully in the future lox club changes their business objectives and makes this dating app as popular as bumble or hinge.
