Way to expensive for the service it provides, and even after spending the money no one replies to you
  • Easy to use app but too expensive

$12 bucks a week? I can’t even read/reply to messages without purchasing a package. I’ll just keep using “Roomie” it’s free.
  • Still need some tweaking

I wasn’t able upload my id to get verified and I noticed a good amount of profiles their either catfish or seem to be when they don’t have a bio, pictures etc etc. Overall it all right wish this app was here 6 years ago 🤦🏾‍♂️

Great platform connecting roommates and renters with options outside of traditional apartments. Just started using it and already have some options to consider

    1. In order to just LOOK, you're made to create an account. 2. The ONLY way to do that is by providing your PHONE number, (non voip)... hmm...(first flag I ignored). AND If that isn't enough to deter you... After you put in your (cherished) phone number and click to button under to proceed, <> the screen doesn't change at all and it is as if you didn't click the button. And whether this is the result of shotty or poor app design or was the spawn of a cypercrime genius, I don't know, but read on and make the decision for yourself. Since the page didn't change, I mean as if it was "frozen" leading me to clcik a bunch more times. Moments later my phone gets a few back to back texts. There were 2 codes (I clicked the button like 5 times). This prompted me to look at my computer screen which NOW had a screen asking for a code. Figuring I had gotten somewhere, I entered the last code sent to me, but was reported back as invalid, so for good measure I entered all the codes and all were invalid? Only a moment or two since receiving them? I see why the codes issued prior to the LAST one I received wold be invalid, but why the last one? It had only been a minute or two from receipt to my entering it? At this point I am feeling pot commited here, so I decdided to try one more time. I entered my phone number (knowing what to expect this time, no change in screen), but instead of a valid code text this time, I receieved a little red message under the phone number that said something to the effect of "sorry too many attempts!" with no other options or ways to create an account so one could then LOG IN. -----SO RUN, DON'T WALK away fro mthis app, ALLLLL of the sublets on this app are found various other places. Don't use an app that requires an account, plus said account can only be established through a phone number. I have since deleted it, advised my daughter and her freinds this was not to be used for the purpose they were going to use it for, and am going to change my phone number after I am done here too, because I can. Lastly, after going back and forth with this, I decided to report this app to the IC3. My gut was nagging me that something felt off about this entire experience, and if I am wrong, fine. Do better Roomster. There should be a confirmation message or screen that your information was accepted (phone) and you'll be getting a text message with a code. ALSO, if there is a time frame you're expected to enter said code, go ahead and give us a heads up on that too! The IC3 reporting was mostly based off of that. But, the fact that after just a couple attempts I am BLOCKED that is where I felt I got all the calories with no flavor. OH and allow me to add this, before writing this, I went on a PC (dell laptop and a HP laptop) as the first was on my macbook, and all 3 times the same thing.. so I don't want to hear this was my computer or a single issue with the screen not changing. It appears to be more purposeful than a glitch. Also, allow people to sign up through email.... phones only... shady shady

Roomster seems pretty easy to use so far, and has some good listings. Only thing is people barely respond. And there are a lot of scam posts.
